Topic: Our speakers will be introducing us to HB 2800, the Oregon Farm-to-School bill. This legislation would provide reimbursement funding for schools that purchase Oregon grown and produced foods. They will explain the bill, provide a brief history on the process they are using to gain support for the bill, and what challenges they face in getting the bill passed. They will also speak to how a policy work group functions.
