Nominate a fellow ODA member and/or yourself for one of the following awards:

Outstanding Dietitian of the Year (ODY)
The Outstanding Dietitian of the Year is the highest honor given by ODA. The recipient must be over 35 years.

Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year (RYDY)
The RYDY award recognizes the competence and activities of younger dietitians. The recipient must be 35 years or younger.

Emerging Dietetic Leader Award (EDL)
The Emerging Dietetic Leader Award recognizes the competence and activities of members, regardless of their age, who are at the beginning of their dietetic careers.

Recognized Dietetic Technician of the Year (RDTY)
The purpose of the RDTY Award is to recognize the professional contributions of dietetic technicians. This award also honors those who have made significant contributions in certain areas of expertise to benefit our state.

In addition to recognition during the Academy of Dietetics and Nutrition’s’ Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo (FNCE), ODA recognizes award recipients with complimentary registration to convention, website and newsletter postings, notification to your key organizational leaders and a press release sent to your local newspaper. You’ll also receive a beautiful commemorative item to recognize your achievement.
